Position Overview:
The Retail Merchandiser position is responsible for showcasing our client’s products at our customer’s retail locations by effectively performing project work including but not limited to the proper implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, stock rotation, building and maintaining attractive displays, and completing surveys and audits. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, quick learner, has strong attention to detail, works well in independent situations, will be able to increase sales and maintain strong client/customer relationships. This position interfaces with clients, customers, and various members of the sales operations teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain full distribution and display of products on assigned accounts.
- Clean, stock, rotate and merchandise our client’s products.
- Perform audits, such as checking for missing tags, date codes and plan-o-grams integrity.
- Consult with management on major issues, meet objectives and goals as assigned, and report store level observations related to client product and customer needs.
- Create additional sales opportunities based on back-room stock, (i.e. fill out of stocks and voids).
- Apply IRC’S and promotional coupons to our client’s products.
- Assess and prioritize workloads based on store assignment and client needs.
- Represent company in a professional manner and follow company dress code policy.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous retail or sales experience (preferred)
- Experience in utilizing technology (i.e. smart phones and or handheld devices)
- Ability to access the internet, operate a computer, and be familiar with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and written with others, read, comprehend, and execute documented instructions.
- Must work well in a team environment, use time efficiently and demonstrate initiative to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Must follow company policy of timely submission of expense reimbursement, reports, recaps and verification of work hours.
- Maintain confidentiality of our client’s information.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; and have reliable transportation with the ability to drive a car for an extended period of time
- Overnight and/or weekly travel will be required.
