As part of Cybersecurity task force, the cybersecurity project manager is in charge of:
overseeing and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives
planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
collaborating with various departments to understand and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
maintaining effective communication between stakeholders to implement robust security measures and achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage projects across multiple domains, including cybersecurity
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including budgets and timelines
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Ensure adherence to cyber security standards, policies, and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and maintain alignment across the organization
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in managing complex cybersecurity projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Ability to perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent cybersecurity certification
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA).
