What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Oil and Gas Field Technician position at Alliance Technical Group?
Description
Project Functions:
- Leads field projects (OG & RNG) with up to 3 technicians
- Able to safely navigate complexities of sampling high pressure sources
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate safety concerns and hazards on location to technicians
- Coordinate with field contacts
- Map sampling sites
- Mobilize to sites at the time agreed upon
- Collect requested samples according to recognized methods and SOPs
- Ensure accuracy on all COC's, tags, and sample log
Administrative Functions:
- Responsible for training new field technicians on sampling methods and procedures
- Accurate recording of time for project billing purposes
- Maintain log of sampling media cleaning and servicing
Other Laboratory Functions:
- Ensure proper cleanliness and operation of oil and gas trucks, tools, sampling media, and other equipment
- Help maintain cleanliness of laboratory and office area, especially the sample media room
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in science, engineering, or related
- 2 years of Oil and Gas field experience required
