We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Engineering to lead our engineering divisions, ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth. This position is responsible for overseeing project execution, managing resources, and driving strategic initiatives that align with the company's long-term goals.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate the efforts of Practice Leads and Project Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients and technical teams.
- Oversee workload prioritization, project scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
- Provide technical guidance and high-level expertise for critical projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to establish key design criteria.
- Lead business development efforts, identifying growth opportunities and expanding the company's market presence.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with government agencies, private clients, and industry stakeholders to enhance the firm's credibility and competitive advantage.
- Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations, demonstrating the company's technical expertise and value proposition.
- Prepares, reviews, and updates project budgets, billing projections, marketing goals, and other corporate budgeting efforts.
- Develops procedures relating to contracting and subcontracting which minimizes the Company's liability exposure and ensures fair and equitable fee arrangements.
- Monitors employment requirements to anticipate the need for additional personnel or the necessity for curtailing staff.
