Alliance Water Resources is looking for an energetic, personable individual for the position of HR Generalist.
Essential Functions:

Oversees the recruiting process to include job postings, researching sources, and participating in job fairs.
- Initiates the pre-employment and hiring process.
- Maintains and tracks employment system records.
- Organizes new hire orientation.
- Coordinates and assists in the administration of the company training program.
- Ensures continuing education credits, course completion, attendance.
- Coordinates drug and alcohol testing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures DOT compliance for CDL drivers.

Assists in the management of employee leaves and workers’ compensation claims.
- Communicates and works with all parties coordinating documentation, accommodations, and compliance.
- Supports the department in all areas to include employment verification, benefit administration, personnel issues, report requests, and more.
- Other duties as assigned, cross trains, and backs up as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 – 5 years in Human Resources or related field
- Experience in training and certification programs
- Knowledge in leave administration and/or workers’ compensation
- Understanding and experience in DOT processing highly desired
- Knowledge and ability with Kronos, UKG Learning a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, and organization skills
- Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of appropriate business software programs, word processing, spreadsheet, database applications, etc.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain in good standing.
