Position Summary :
As the High School Director, you directly oversee the operations of the high school age which provide mission services and facilitate effective functioning of the entire operations segment of The Nathaniel Alliance Center. As the High School Director you will overlook and ensure that all operations for the high school sector are being carried out according to The Nathaniel Alliance Center (T.N.A.C.) standards. As the High School Director you will help grow and develop students spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Implement strategies for effective team contact work at the college school level.
- Seek out and maintain relationships and disciplines, in the context of active participation in a church community, that lead to an energetic spiritual life.
- Implement, direct, and supervise effective weekly outreach events and clubs.
- Develop and implement an effective follow-up and mentorship program including career development and volunteer opportunities.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Recruit college school students to summer camp / event and lead the summer camp / event.
- Demonstrate sound and responsible fiscal management with regards to all camping and grant funds.
- Help provide quality college school student volunteers to participate in the community development events.
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a energetic spiritual life, including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer and scripture reading.
- Recruit, screen, and place volunteer leaders to carry out the vision and mission of T.N.A.C. to College school students.
- Lead weekly or bi-weekly team meetings.
- Supervise, support, evaluate and encourage volunteer leaders in their leadership development and personal development and formation with college school students.
- Maintain a genuine and sincere commitment to understanding God’s Word and the disciplines of personal and corporate prayer.
- Meet twice a month with leaders one-on-one to provide coaching and more leadership.
- Involve veteran leaders in team leadership, assigning clear roles and responsibilities to grow the mission and vision of T.N.A.C.
- Actively engage in T.N.A.C. fellowship learning community and events.
- Lead a bible study meeting with excellence for your respective age group.
- Pursue opportunities to learn through books, TED Talks, courses, etc.
- Seek out mentorship from a valued friend and leader.
- Research community and school demographics to assess ministry effectiveness and support the N.A.C. effort in reaching the community.
- Develop connections and build relationships with key adults in the area.
- Build relationships and communicate with parents to ensure their support of the Nathaniel Alliance Center mission.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with appropriate adult leaders and organization in the community.
- Raise personal support to and communicate college school progression to personal donor partners to continue the support of T.N.A.C.
