Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator
Location : Carol Stream, IL
Salary : $70K–$80K (DOE & language skills)
Schedule : 7 AM – 3 : 30 PM with flexibility for off-shift, weekends, and holidays
Industrial Environment – Hands-On Role
We are looking for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to ensure workplace safety, compliance, and risk management in an industrial environment. This role requires expertise in safety leadership, safety audits, safety training, and proactive safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and safety risks
- Investigate accidents and near misses, determining causes and corrective actions to improve safety
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to ensure safety awareness among employees
- Perform safety risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating risks
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Analyze and report safety performance data to management
- Foster a safety-first culture and engage employees in safety initiatives
- Present safety programs and updates to employees at all levels of the organization
