Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Largo, FL
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machines to ensure efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Up and Adjust: Read blueprints or work orders, adjust machine components, and set controls to prepare the machine for operation.
- Operate: Run machines to process materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor: Continuously monitor the machine to ensure it is producing quality products and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect: Examine finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning of machines to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
- Record: Keep accurate records of machine performance, production outputs, and any issues or defects encountered.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
Physical Demands:
- Work in a climate-controlled environment with exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes.
- Regularly sit, stand, bend, and reach.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
