Mgr Finance

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university is required; Master's in Business Administration is preferred
• Experience: Five (5) or more years of experience in Accounting.Finance setting and general accounting knowledge preferred

• Oversees the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements for presentation to hospital leadership
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
• Reviewing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ensure any discrepancies are resolved timely
• Assists budget preparation and monitoring process, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgetary guidelines
• Complete monthly variance analyses and oversees monthly departmental MOR preparation
• Ensure accuracy of hospital statistical reporting and assist with productivity reporting to include working with the hospital leaders to meet productivity targets
• With insight from CFO, evaluate the profitability of various service lines, to include pro forma preparation for new service lines
• Leading preparation of various reporting requirements, including cost report workpapers, AHA survey, etc
• Monitor CER process and ensure all capital purchases are appropriately and timely capitalized, including all CIP
• Ensure all financial records and transactions are in compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Support CFO in identifying risks and opportunities at the facility
Plan and forecast process to develop cost center budgets in alignment with facility initiatives as needed
