Teamcenter Data Migration-Sr. Developer
Location: Austin,TX – Sunnyvale,CA - Detroit, MI
Experience in data migration projects, preferably in a Teamcenter data loading for Non-CAD data and files
• Solid understanding of Teamcenter data model, workflows, and configurations
• Excellent understanding of Teamcenter data exchange formats
• Good experience with TCXML to load the data into teamcenter for large data
• Solid understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Working experience in data loading in teamcenter in cloud environments
• Proficiency in Teamcenter data migration tools and utilities including Site consolidation tools and processes
• Experience with data loading and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automating migration processes.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in data management or PLM are advantageousAs a Teamcenter Data Migration Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamlessand accurate transfer of data from legacy systems to Teamcenter, our product lifecycle management(PLM) solution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, plan, execute, andvalidate data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, quality, and adherence to best practices. Your expertise in data migration methodologies and Teamcenter will contribute to the successful implementation of critical projects. you will engage with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading practices. You will be more focused on data loading in teamcenter for very large data in shorter duration of time.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze legacy data sources to assess data quality, consistency, and structure.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure accurate and complete data migration.
• Utilize Teamcenter utilities and tools to execute data loading tasks, adhering to established guidelines and best practices.
• Develop and maintain scripts or programs to automate data migration processes when necessary.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate migrated data against source data and identify discrepancies or errors. • Provide technical support to end-users during data validation and post-migration phases.
• Monitor data migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Document data migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes for future reference.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects related to data management and system integration.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in data migration and PLM solutions. General Managerial Skills:
