We are seeking a Senior Change Communications Specialist to join our Communications team. This talented individual excels at guiding cross-functional teams and organizations effectively through transformation. The ideal candidate has a proven track record creating and then implementing change journeys that inspire, inform and empower stakeholders to adopt change in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute innovative communication strategies and touchpoints. You’ll translate complex concepts into clear, compelling and targeted messages while managing multi-channel outreach. You’re a self-starter and critical thinker who effectively collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at ensuring timely delivery of messages in alignment with organizational goals.
If you’re a strategic thinker with behavioral science expertise or experience with proven change methodologies (such as Proci’s ADKAR model) and a passion for storytelling, change management and delivering results, we want to hear from you! This role offers a blend of working from home in the Madison, WI office.
What you will do
Create and execute comprehensive communication plans to support organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall operational and strategic initiatives.
Produce high-quality content for various internal channels, including emails, intranet articles, presentations, and videos, to effectively communicate change initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and other key stakeholders to understand communication needs and provide strategic advice on messaging and delivery.
Foster a culture of transparency and engagement by developing change communication materials that resonate with employees and encourage participation in change initiatives, demonstrating executive presence and the ability to provide executives with strategic communication advice.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, using metrics and feedback to continuously improve and adapt approaches.
Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans as needed, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination during critical periods.
Provide training and support to managers and leaders on effective communication practices during times of change.
Operates to develop, lead and coordinate broad-based change external and internal communications initiatives.
Acts as an external spokesperson and participates in cross-functional teams for complex inquiries and project activities.
Engages in other duties as needed that support our Values and help deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Communications with specialization in organizational communication, marketing, English or related Preferred
Required Experience
3 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on change management or organizational change.
Proven experience working in communications, business, public affairs, marketing, or related field.
Solid foundation in change and strategic communications.

Pay Range:
This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
