Job Summary
The Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) Analyst I will collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor processes and tasks supporting adherence to NERC CIP standards and other governance frameworks. The GRC Analyst will support the growth and maturation of compliance programs while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements and principles are ingrained into operational practices. The GRC Analyst will perform routine tasks, analyze exceptions to processes and help drive process improvements to ensure compliance is maintained on an ongoing basis.
This position offers a blend of working from home in the Madison, WI or Cedar Rapids, IA office. The successful candidate must reside in either Iowa or Wisconsin.
What you will do
Gains a working knowledge of policy, procedure, and standards to maintain corporate compliance with mandated regulations, particularly regulations associated with cyber security.
Gains a working knowledge of processes to identify, quantify, analyze, and report on compliance status.
Acts as primary facilitator of daily on-call duties, including managing all inbound emails to the team inbox, creating tasks for the subject matter experts (SMEs), updating evidence records, filing evidence reports, and, in general, monitoring for the proper creation of compliance evidence to ensure the company is audit ready.
Collects, verifies, and ensures retention of compliance information and audit records.
Provides assistance relating to compliance activities and requirements for demonstrating compliance with mandated regulations.
Assists other analysts in meeting compliance needs and requirements.
Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Compliance, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Physical Security, or Business Analysis Preferred
Required Experience
1 year minimum of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
Ability to interpret federal NERC CIP regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a detail-oriented, deadline-guided environment.
Ability to work in a diverse work environment.

Pay Range : 63,000-$70,000
This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
