EXPERIENCED FLEXOGRAPHIC PRESS OPERATOR

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flexographic printing processes and experience operating Mark Andy 2200 and 4150 presses ranging from 10" to 20" widths. The candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and be prepared to be a floater as needed, operating any press in the facility. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set-up press according to job order, registration, impression and appearance, color rotation and anilox.
• Maintain set-up scrap and run scrap at a minimum.
• Clean down and changeover of the press, when Press Help is unavailable.
• Change doctor blades as needed, when Press Help is unavailable.
• Run sample for plant manager to sign off on.
• Prepare all parts, products, etc. needed for the next job order.
• Maintain all production efficiency, including run speed.
• Verify and check press parts are clean and readily available.
• Verify and check the print quality of the printed rolls.
• Visually identify non-conforming product.
• Responsible for filling out necessary paperwork.
• Operate all production machinery.
• Comply with OSHA safety, AIB and plant regulations.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Maintains all safety, quality, and GMP procedures.
• Will perform the above duties and any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flexographic printing using Mark Andy machinery.
• High School Diploma or GED desired.
• Mathematical skills
