Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer experience by administering incoming diesel fuel injection systems repair work and parts sales request from existing customers and potential customers.
Key Departmental Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and on the phone, creating a positive customer transaction.
- Assist in billing operations of the Service and Parts Department.
- Establish and maintain customer accounts.
- Keep track of ongoing repairs, ensure service order and requisition fulfillment occurs in a timely manner, monitor job status and parts availability.
- Support and assist Alliant Power in processing part sales, injector testing, rebuilt units, and related cores.
- Maintain department filing operations; file warranty claims and maintain work orders and sales orders.
- Operate in conformance with the requirements of the Alliant Power quality management system.
- Assist other employees both in and out of the department.
- Maintain positive and respectful attitude toward customers, vendors and employees.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building relationships and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of diesel fuel injection systems is a plus.
