SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
As a Low Voltage Technician at Alliant Security, you'll install, maintain, and troubleshoot security setups. You'll need strong customer service skills, proficiency with hand tools and schematics, and expertise in electrical work, cabling, and computer networking. Effective fieldwork and clear communication are key. Experience with IP-based video surveillance and access control systems is highly valued. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in Access Control, CCTV, Alarm/Intrusion systems, and physical security equipment is essential. Experience with VAT blower systems, ATMs, money and coin machine installation and servicing, and cyber security is a plus.
- Experience in commercial security solutions. Experience with DMP, AXIS, AMAG a plus.
- Frequent travel - up to 100% of the time. Will be home for weekends
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record
- Physical capability to stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods, comfort with crawling in tightly confined spaces (attics)
- Proficiency in climbing ladders and lifts, skilled in using power and hand tools
- Low Voltage licensed
SKILLS
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook)
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to finish work, follow-through, and report on responsibilities.
- Ability to fulfill work accurately and thoroughly as well as the availability to travel overnights as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain low voltage security systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cabling and electrical tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics for proper installation and troubleshooting.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records using software applications.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance system design and installation.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
