About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled IT Testing Specialist to join our team at Alliant. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of test management concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of all aspects of software development.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, driving effective solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Design and execute automated regression tests, leveraging expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Analyze defects, providing actionable insights to drive resolution efforts and document final outcomes.
- Proactively communicate test plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- ~4-6 years' experience in QA or Test Management, with a focus on medium-to-large-scale application implementations.
- Hands-on experience with one or more test management software tools (QualityCenter, qTest, Jira Xray, etc.).
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including source control, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems, and DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of test automation and hands-on experience with one or more test automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
