SUMMARY
Works to develop and utilize analytical tools with the objective of providing business intelligence information to internal and external customers regarding their health and welfare programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Executes all necessary tasks for Alliant's Integrated Data Analytics Platform (IDAP) implementations from start to completion (approx. 14 week multi-stage process), including all relevant vendor interactions/coordination;
• Understands and Executes Alliant responsibilities for successful IDAP implementations;
• Ensures ongoing monthly operational functionality of IDAP for all installed clients;
• Conducts primary data quality control checks for all new and existing IDAP clients and assists with issue resolution;
• Develops and maintains high-level working knowledge of IDAP reporting system(s) and software functionality;
• Develops working knowledge of other client data reporting systems;
• Coordinates and executes raw data transfers between/among primary sources, third party analytics firms and Alliant;
• Supports all IDAP users by assisting with all software related needs including: data quality issue resolution, report template maintenance and other user support;
• Supports all IDAP customers by assisting with standard and advanced reporting needs, including execution of standard scheduled reports where necessary;
• Processes and updates non-IDAP data tables on a monthly basis as data feeds arrive;
• Responsible for communicating data issues, changes or delays to Alliant team members as appropriate;
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
• Other duties and ad-hoc analytics support as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical/science field of study
Related work experience preferred
Experience with database management and related software, including comfort with coding/scripting in SQL or other similar languages.
Preferred experience with end-user data analytics software such as PowerBI, Tableau, or other similar.
Preferred experience with healthcare data analysis and reporting.
Obtain and maintain valid insurance license (must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
