The Onboarding Specialist will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication / presentation skills to help deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. The role also involves working closely with HR and other departments to ensure compliance, successful integration, and retention of new employees.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for candidates during the and onboarding process.
- Conduct in-person and virtual onboarding presentations.
- Coordinate with business leaders and the Talent Team to develop customized onboarding plans for the various business units / departments.
- Schedule onboarding with all internal resources, including IT, facilities, and relevant teams.
- Collect feedback on the onboarding experience and presenters for continuous improvement.
- Ensure new hires complete necessary paperwork, including contracts, tax documents, and Employe Handbook.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations throughout the onboarding process.
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials and presentations.
- Help foster a welcoming and inclusive work environment to support employee retention.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in employee onboarding.
