This role involves manual labor tasks and/or the operation of construction and maintenance equipment; and requires the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects. Many of the responsibilities are performed in an office setting; however, there are a variety of residential work sites, and the work can be done in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the setup and breakdown of conference rooms as instructed
- Facilitate the relocation of office furniture and equipment as requested
- Supervise the repair, maintenance, and renovation of assigned facilities; determine work priorities, coordinate operations with other departments and contractors to minimize conflicts and delays; and inspect work in progress and on completion to ensure compliance with instructions, procedures, standards, and timelines
- Plan, schedule, supervise, and evaluate the work of contractors, vendors and others as assigned; provides instruction and assistance, as necessary
- Monitor and inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure timely completion and compliance with instructions, procedures, and standards; assist others as necessary, and resolve construction and maintenance problems as required; enforce safety rules and regulations
- Prepare work estimates including material, equipment, and labor requirements; requisition items for regular operations and to maintain inventories; establish internal controls to safeguard equipment, material, and supplies; arrange equipment rentals as required
- Coordinate and execute maintenance activities for corporate housing, including routine inspections, repairs and improvements ensuring properties are well-maintained and presentable
- Implement preventative maintenance as required
- Handle emergency repairs and services as required
- Advise and update Manager regarding facility issues and problems
- Perform related duties and special projects as required.
- Preferred 3 years of experience performing a variety of skilled building and grounds maintenance and repair work
- Experience operating a variety of motorized construction and maintenance equipment
- Basic knowledge in carpentry, electrical and mechanical systems, landscaping, plumbing, and heating and ventilation equipment
- Working knowledge of occupational/work hazards to minimize risks; ability to establish, maintain, and follow safety rules and regulations
- Ability to safely operate a wide variety of hand and power tools skillfully
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a variety of standard motorized construction and maintenance equipment
- Able to analyze a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair problems to take appropriate remedial action
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
