SUMMARY
Responsible for providing general administrative support and benefits assistance to the brokerage service team to ensure high quality management of each client's employee benefits insurance program. Performs administrative tasks relating to employee benefits analyses and the performance of clients' employee benefits insurance programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Retrieves, catalogs, organizes and maintains financial reporting data from carriers and vendors.
• Provides administrative support to service team and analysts on day-to-day assignments and ad-hoc requests.
• Organizes client files for new plan years and for prospects.
• Attends regular training seminars related to the analyst role.
• Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, economics
One (1) or more years of general administrative experience
One (1) or more years of data analysis experience
SKILLS
Proficient computer skills with a strong emphasis in Excel (Microsoft/Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook software)
Skill in utilizing Microsoft Excel functions and formulas including the ability to manipulate/create pivot tables
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good problem solving, planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and with clear focus
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all assignments
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
