What you do :
The Principal Learning Advisor operates at a strategic level, playing an important role in influencing and shaping our learning and development landscape. This role is characterized by a high degree of autonomy and serves as a strategic partner to business leaders on high-impact company priorities and projects. The Principal Learning Advisor leads the design of large-scale learning programs and solutions, applying advanced adult learning principles to lead organizational success. You will report to the Learning Development Director.
Main responsibilities include ensuring that learning content is aligned with our priorities and goals while maintaining a learner-centric approach that fosters engagement and growth. You will emphasize leadership and innovation, actively onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and training team members to enhance the capability of the learning function.
As a trusted advisor, the Principal Learning Advisor operates with minimal direction and oversight. We are looking for a forward-thinking mindset, able to identify opportunities for innovation and driving transformative change within the learning and development domain.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of complex learning programs.
- Engage with business leaders to align learning programs with our goals.
- Often responsible for innovation and transformation in learning practices.
- Recognized as an expert or thought leader in the field.
Strategic Program Leadership : Lead the design and development of strategic learning programs that align with organizational goals. Innovate and implement advanced learning solutions using the latest technologies and methodologies. Ensure programs are scalable and adaptable to meet future business needs.
Strategic Business Partnership : Serve as learning advisor to leadership, influencing decision-making and aligning learning programs with long-term business objectives. Manage large-scale programs and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations that inspire organizational change. Communicate the value and effect of learning solutions to partners.
Organizational Learning Leadership : Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of important learning programs. Mentor and coach other learning professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Evaluate the effectiveness of learning strategies and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
Learning Infrastructure Oversight : Oversee the development and maintenance of learning technologies and infrastructure. Ensure that learning technologies are used effectively to support organizational learning goals.
What you bring :
Range : $80,000 - $160,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
