What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack Developer position at Allianz Global?
As a Full Stack Developer, on our dynamic Fusion Technology team you will play a key role in designing and building innovative software solutions, working alongside a cross-functional team throughout the full development life cycle. Reporting to the Head of Fusion Technology, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, front-end and back-end frameworks, and third-party libraries to deliver high-quality applications.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week at our Richmond, VA office.
What you will do/ Key responsibilities
Work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions
Build the front-end of applications with appealing visual design and user-centric functionality
Develop and maintain relational models
Develop robust APIs optimized for performance and resilience
Test developed code for functionality and performance
Troubleshoot and provide resolution as needed
Document technical implementation details
What you will bring/ Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or combination of equivalent education, training and experience
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Minimum of 1-3 years full stack development experience, including:
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
Experience developing RESTful web APIs using .NET
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git and TFVC)
Knowledge of multiple front-end language and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Python)
Strong skills in relational database design and development using SQL Server
Understanding of the Agile methodology, code management, and software development lifecycles
Ability to independently troubleshoot and problem solve
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Azure platform and DevOps preferred
