The Analytics Engineering team at Allianz Life sits within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence and is responsible for developing data products and other data related solutions across the company, supporting all areas of the business including operations, sales / distribution, marketing / growth, HR and compliance.
The 2025 Analytics Engineering Summer Internship position will provide an opportunity to tackle challenging and meaningful real world business problems using cutting edge engineering techniques and solutions. You will be working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams on highly visible and highly impactful projects. A successful candidate will have a strong technical background in data language and infrastructure technology as well as strong communications skills and a willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
What you do :
- Design and build data datasets using SQL to address important business needs
- Query and prepare relevant data utilizing Azure Data Platform for reports, including building out data governance layers to verify data quality
- Work closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand legacy business reports for redevelopment on new technology
- Implement high quality code and participate in regular code reviews
- Balance working independently and collaboration with other teams
What you bring :
Hourly Rate : $20-22 / hour
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity of peers.
