What are the responsibilities and job description for the AIM Senior Analyst - Trader | Hybrid position at Allianz Life?
What you do:
You will support daily trading activity in liquid markets and daily management of internal portfolios. You will help develop and implement financial analysis or projects for broker/bank relationships and Portfolio Management of initiatives. This may include cash management, liquidity projections, cash forecasting, or other reports related to the ongoing management of portfolios. You will support monitoring of liquidity for portfolios and other activities within the Portfolio Management Team. Support build out of Portfolio Management reporting on ad hoc basis. Develop skills to trade fixed income and related securities authorized by portfolio managers. You will report to the Head of Portfolio Management.
We ask that you use multiple internal and external software applications such as Bloomberg professional and BlackRock Aladdin. The analyst could also complete the above mentioned functions in a fast-paced environment daily.
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.

- Support daily functions relating to trading and cash funding for internal clients of the investment management group.
- Provide various reporting and analysis on various data elements on a daily or monthly basis.
- Maintain control of documentation for internal and external auditors
- Work with the operations group to help facilitate timely settlement of trades
- Other general support of capital markets and portfolio management teams
- 2 years of experience in insurance, banking or financial services
- 4 year degree in finance/accounting or equivalent business experience
- Strong quantitative and modeling skills, advanced excel, macros and access skills
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
- Strong team-mined attitude and ability to take direction from senior team members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to meet strict timelines on a daily basis
- Knowledge of Bloomberg professional or BlackRock Aladdin
- Some capital markets or trading experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
