What you do:
You will take incoming consultative phone calls from our financial professionals, and clients for Allianz life insurance inforce business. You will be asked to assist in leadership responsibilities designated from the Director, Advanced Design, life operations. This includes escalations, research, and problem solving to find solutions for our customers. You will make outbound calls for follow up requests to our clients. In this role the specialists will provide technical explanations of life insurance illustrations and review advanced case design strategies. You should have strong Index Universal Life (IUL) product knowledge (preferable in Allianz Life insurance products) and be able to have in-depth conversations to provide a world class service experience to our customers, and partners. Build and maintain business relationships through effective communication by email, phone and in person with internal/external partners in a customer-centric and professional demeanor. You will identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational plans to positively influence the team and quality. You will report into the Operations Director.
Life Product Specialist Senior: $67,000 - $134,000
Actual base salary may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.

- Inbound/Outbound phone calls with financial institutions/professionals to discuss complex life inforce illustrations, and several other transactions that pose a risk to a life insurance policy. You will be a subject matter expert in the life insurance product and inforce illustration space.
- Running, and presenting Life In force Illustrations
- Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements across the team, and within Allianz
- Identify training opportunities, and train/mentor the life teams onshore/offshore teams on trends that will benefit the customer experience.
- Assists teammates in escalated requests that require a senior representative to speak to clients/financial professionals.
- Uses innovation and transformation to find efficiencies in the work we do in the life insurance space.
- Work with senior leadership, and main business partners to ensure this team is providing a high standard of service, provide feedback to senior manager on pain points, and opportunities to allow this team to continue its success.
- Identifies and communicates life industry market trends.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Updates standard operating procedures, conducts trainings to the life team and offshore partners, and mentors' employees that are lower tiered then them.
- 5 years of experience required: Minimum 5 years of related experience in the life insurance industry, brokerage or previous financial services sales experience.
- Four – year degree required: or equivalent work experience.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
