Summary

 

 

Assist with treasury and insurance reporting activities to ensure they are completed in a timely and accurate manner to relevant parties.

 

 

Job Functions

 

 

Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time.

•Prepare daily fiduciary cash transfer process, related monthly reconciliation support, and provide data for monthly journal entries related to treasury/insurance activities.

•Prepare state premium tax returns and miscellaneous state filings.

•Prepare and distribute ad-hoc, monthly, and annual premium, claim and recovery regulatory information as well as coordinate select audits for all reporting and funding underwriters.

•Develop and maintain comprehensive monthly insurance reporting packages for reporting and funding underwriters.

•Coordinate the balance of various premium, claim, and recovery reports.

•Participate in various internal and external audits.

•Coordinate and deliver monthly reinsurance data transfers to partners with appropriate customer liaison/support.

•Assist in ad-hoc and annual TPA filings.

•May perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

 

•Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of work and education experience.

•Three (3) to five (5) years experience in treasury, insurance accounting and/or insurance-related public accounting.

•Experience with P&C insurance preferred.

 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

 

 

Position is routinely expected to travel 5% of time.
