Auto Body Repair Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and painting, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto body repairs on damaged vehicles, including panel replacement.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
• Fabricate parts when required to ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components as needed during the repair process.
• Restoration of classic vehicles which includes rust remediation and welding.

Experience

• Proven experience in auto body repair and painting is required.
• Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and tools is essential.
• Previous experience working in an autobody shop is mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with auto body work is essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Welding: 2 years (Preferred)
• Auto body repair: 3 years (Required)
