The automation industry continues to expand. Allied Automation sits on the cutting edge! OPPORTUNITY : As our Technical Sales Representative, you will provide solutions and develop new relationships. Your past success in selling to manufacturers, along with your industrial automation knowledge, will help you succeed in developing new business. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be rewarded monetarily and be a valued team member.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Develop and support sales strategies and objectives to expand market share in the regionMonitor progress toward goals, making necessary adjustments to reach objectivesInitiate and develop contact with key and target customers to establish strong relationshipsConsult on applications with customers in the primary product areasConsistently use PC-based software to document sales opportunities and to coordinate required sales activities between other regions and managementTravel is required, mainly Fort Wayne, IN, and surrounding counties - occasional domestic travel may be required for trainingPerform other essential duties as assignedSUCCESS FACTORS : Must possess an associate's degree, plus knowledge of the industrial automation industry, manufacturing, or OEM industryAbility to develop a customer base and generate sales to accommodate goalsStrong negotiating, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skillsNecessary time management skills to handle a consistently high level of sales activity - including a full schedule of outside sales calls coupled with numerous follow up requirementsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS : Allied Automation, Inc. will reward your sales talents with a base salary of $100-$125K, plus sales commission, and bonus plan. Top sales engineers are earning $200 / annually. You will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) match, and paid vacation. Car allowance, mileage, and other travel expenses are reimbursed.
