What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tank Farm Operator position at Allied Aviation Services, Inc.?
This is a unique opportunity for a tank farm operator to work at Newark Liberty International Airport Fuel Farm. Tank Farm Operator will be responsible for all tank farm maintenance, including the pumping, filtration and control systems and associated administrative functions. Ensures compliance with all Allied Aviation, FAA, Port Authority, Airline, OSHA, EPA and NJDEP policies rules and regulations as applicable to fuel quality and tank farm operations. Responsible for gauging tanks prior to receiving fuel and monitoring receipts. Drain tanks and filters daily, drain tank farm low points monthly. You will be trained in OSHA confined space entry procedures. All paid on the job training.
Tank Farm Operator Qualifications:
Must have CDL "A or B"
Must have a verifiable background up to 10 years
High school diploma or GED
Must be available to work shift work and weekends and on call duty as required
