What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock and Door Technician position at Allied Building Service?
As a Dock and Door Technician at Allied, you’ll work as part of a dedicated team servicing a wide variety of commercial and industrial properties. Our Dock and Door/Man Door Technicians spend their days making service calls for our wide variety of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose a wide range of man doors, hollow metal doors, overhead doors, security gates, and dock levelers
- Repair a wide range of man doors, hollow metal doors, overhead doors, security gates, and dock levelers
- Replace a wide range of man doors, hollow metal doors, overhead doors, security gates, and dock levelers
- Make general building repairs that relate to loading docks and warehouse control systems
- Repair/replace all hardware associated with man doors and hollow metal doors
- Other various tasks related to servicing commercial buildings
Requirements:
- A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Overhead door experience
- Man-door experience preferred
- Must have AAADM Certification
