What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Specialist position at Allied Building Service?
We’re looking for a dependable and adaptable janitorial specialist to join our janitorial team. In this role, you’ll travel to different locations to cover shifts and support ongoing cleaning needs. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming environments across multiple facilities.
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (travel to various sites required)
Pay: Up to $19 an hour
What You’ll Do:
- Provide janitorial coverage and support at multiple locations based on company needs.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, common areas, offices, and facility spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform floor care tasks.
- Empty trash, sanitize surfaces, and restock supplies.
- Assist with deep cleaning or special project work as needed.
- Ensure cleaning tasks meet Allied’s standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications for the Job:
- Reliable transportation (travel is required).
- Previous janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- Floor care experience (stripping, waxing, buffing) is a plus.
