We are hiring for ourIn-home program. You will work with individuals living with their family members or on their own.
******Part-time (Mon-Fri) 15-20 hours/week******
******Part-time (Tues, Thurs, Saturday, Sunday) 11a-5pm******
As a DSP, you'll empower children and adults with a developmental disability to live full, vibrant, and happy lives. In this role you'll provide support with: community outings and volunteer activities, personal hygiene activities, medication administration and foster more independence with daily living skills. DSPs are responsible for providing support as identified in the Individual Support Plan, and for collecting data and documenting the provision of those supports. You'll encourage our residents as they discover what they're passionate about and pursue their dreams. ACS is looking for driven, dependable, creative and compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in other's lives!
Requirements:
- Proof of highest level of education
- Able to pass criminal/registry background checks and tuberculosis screening
- Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Direct Support Professionals Core Competencies
- Strong communication and time management skills
- reliable transportation
- MUST ALREADY HAVE Medication Management certificate. (32 hour) or willing to take class
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
