Responsibilities
Functional responsibilities:
- Responsible for translating client business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs, with multiple integration points, for large complex technical solutions.
- Analyzes customer service requirements and designs service solutions to meet those objectives.
- Able to serve as expert to construct proposed solution, scope document, and risk profiles.
- Can utilize detailed industry and services knowledge in the construction of services solutions, including expert working level knowledge of the processes, technologies, and people components involved in computing services.
- Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to complex computing services proposals.
- As needed, provides a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations.
- Follows all organizational Standard Operating Procedures relative to approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.
- Understands and applies enterprise architecture principles and requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Able to produce expert level, detailed systems documentation using Visio and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect.

Minimum (Required):
Years
Skills/Experience
BS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management, Mathematics, or equivalent.

Experience in serving as an IT architect within a medium to large organization
Demonstrated experience in successfully developing, executing and delivering enterprise architecture solutions.
Demonstrated experience in system development lifecycles, system development methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
Able to identify and define the architecture tasks and deliverables to be incorporated into the overall solutions delivery work plan.
Advanced level hands-on skills in Relational databases and SQL queries, and one or more programming and scripting languages.
Demonstrated high level understanding of all layers of IT technology, from servers, workstations and networking to software stacks (operating systems, middleware, applications), to real-time and batch communications between applications, including those within our organization, or with entities outside of it.
Demonstrated high level of integrity, ability to work with ambiguity, and strong sense of confidence to deliver on responsibilities.
Must have excellent documentation and communication skills.
