Primary Objectives of Position:
- Sell, distribute, and market store items and products that will optimize the cooperatives efficiency
- Assist in achieving the cooperatives mission and goals
- Perform tasks with outstanding customer service
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the facility
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Assist the manager in setting and helping achieve monthly sales goals
- Follow all Allied Cooperative, federal, and state policies and procedures
- Handle complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
- Assist in checking in product deliveries and maintaining stock of products
- Operate a cash till and be able to balance cash drawers
- Ensure that the facility and equipment remains in good repair and appearance
- Maintain a clean and orderly store
- All other duties assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Be able to stand for a long period of time, bend, kneel, and have good finger and wrist dexterity
