Primary Objectives of Position:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the feed mill.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors regularly.
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize feed bins, conveyors, and other equipment.
- Empty trash and recycle bins.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial cleaning environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs, reach above and at shoulder level, and work on or with moving machinery.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
