Position Overview :
The Nurse Practitioner will be a licensed independent practitioner managing health issues and facilitating healthcare for patients in line with State and Federal regulations. This role requires collaboration with the healthcare team and adherence to established care standards, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and management evaluation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive care for gastroenterology patients, applying relevant medical and drug knowledge.
- Possess current provider certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Potential for hospital privileges or current privileges are preferred.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail while multitasking.
- Deliver accurate and efficient care within set timelines.
- Exhibit excellent patient service skills, demonstrating courtesy and respect.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills, managing stress with patience and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize electronic medical records and MS Office proficiently.
- Exhibit robust time management and organizational skills.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines at all times.
