Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments to determine medical eligibility for screening colonoscopies and endoscopies.
- Managing patient interactions throughout the Capsule Endoscopy process, including reviewing preps, scheduling procedures or office visits, and providing prep instructions.
- Ensuring proper placement and removal of Capsule Endoscopy equipment, while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current NYS LPN license
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Intermediate level of computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients
