At Allied Digestive Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advanced gastroenterology services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing interviews to determine medical eligibility for screening procedures, including collecting medical and family histories from patients, reviewing preps, and scheduling procedures or office visits.
- Manage patients throughout the Capsule Endoscopy process, obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement, and removal of Capsule Endoscopy equipment, and guiding patients during the procedure process.
- Place and remove equipment for Capsule Endoscopies, providing high-quality patient care in an office setting.
To be successful in this role, you must have a current NYS LPN license, a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, intermediate-level computer skills, and the ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients. You should also demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care to all age groups.
