We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with experience in gastroenterology to join our team at Teaneck Gastroenterology in stunning Bergen County, NJ.
Overview of the Role
The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. This position must comply with the standards of care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of a plan of care and treatment, implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
Responsibilities
- Manage health problems and coordinate care for patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members
- Evaluate patient status and clinical management
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in New York in good standing
- Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients
