Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access to join our team at Allied Digestive Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and experience with capsule endoscopy procedures. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting nursing interviews to determine medical eligibility for screening colonoscopy/endoscopy. You will also manage the patient throughout the capsule endoscopy procedure process, including obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement and removal of capsule endoscopy equipment, and guidance to the patient during the procedure process.
You must have a current NYS LPN license and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting. Intermediate level computer skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in an office setting are also required. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care to all age groups is a must.
