Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessment of health status
- Diagnosis and development of treatment plans
- Implementation and evaluation of patient status and clinical management
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Prior experience in primary care or gastroenterology (preferred)
- A graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in good standing
- A current DEA certificate
- A current CDS certification
