We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Teaneck Gastroenterology in Bergen County NJ. This role will involve managing health issues and coordinating patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings with a focus on gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage health problems and coordinate healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Comply with standards of care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Hospital privileges or eligibility for hospital privileges.
- Comfortable multitasking with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to perform duties accurately in a timely and efficient manner.
Education and Experience Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in New York in good standing.
- Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS.
