The ideal candidate will have hospitalist or gastroenterology experience, with a strong knowledge of medical and drug information, as well as multitasking abilities and adherence to state and federal regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. This includes assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of a plan of care and treatment, implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in good standing
• Current DEA certificate, NJ License and CDS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
