What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Gastroenterology Care Coordinator position at Allied Digestive Health?
At Allied Digestive Health, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. As a Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care throughout the capsule endoscopy process.
Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. To achieve this, we require our LPNs to have a current NYS license and at least one year of clinical experience. Additionally, they must possess intermediate-level computer skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting nursing interviews to assess medical eligibility for procedures such as screening colonoscopy and endoscopy. You will also manage patient care throughout the capsule endoscopy process, including obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement and removal of capsule endoscopy equipment, and guiding patients during the procedure.
