The Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access at Allied Digestive Health is responsible for conducting nursing interviews, managing patients through the Capsule Endoscopy process, and providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires a current NYS LPN license, at least one year of clinical experience, and the ability to ensure safe and comfortable patient environments. We are looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access at Allied Digestive Health of New York
Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access Responsibilities:

• Conducting nursing interviews to determine medical eligibility for screening colonoscopy/endoscopy. This process includes collecting medical and family histories from patients, reviewing preps and scheduling procedures or office visits.
• Managing the patient throughout our Capsule Endoscopy procedure process; includes obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement and removal of Capsule Endoscopy equipment, guidance to patient during procedure process.
• Place and remove equipment for Capsule Endoscopies
• Providing high quality patient care in an office setting is required

The Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Current NYS LPN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting
• Intermediate level of computer skills
• The ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients is a must
• Must have demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care to all age groups.
