The Medical Assistant Responsibilities are:
- Provides assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
- Provides assistance, services and care to patients by scheduling appointments, greeting, resolving problems and handling payments and insurance information by phone or in person.
- This position provides clerical and data entry support to the Care Center.
- Requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
- High School graduate or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in a medical office preferred
- Certified graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred
- Must be able to speak Korean.
