- Provides assistance to Physician and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls
- Provides assistance, services and care to patients by scheduling appointments, greeting, resolving problems and handling payment and insurance information for patients by phone or in person.
- This position provides clerical and data entry support to the Care Center.
- Requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedureThe Medical Assistant must have the following qualifications and experience :
- High School graduate or GED.
- Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in a medical office
- Certified graduate of Medical Assistant program preferred
