Allied Digestive Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants in Albany, NY. This role will involve managing health problems and coordinating care for patients.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a current APRN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and excellent patient service skills. They will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.

- Performing duties accurately in a timely and efficient manner
- Demonstrating exemplary patient service skills and displaying courteousness and respect
- Maintaining strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain cordial throughout the workday
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in New York in good standing
- Current DEA certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospitalist or strong primary care experience
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Has, or eligible for, hospital privileges
Working Conditions:
This role will be primarily outpatient, but may require inpatient duties on occasion.
