What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Care Coordinator for Gastroenterology Services position at Allied Digestive Health?
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Allied Digestive Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our board-certified gastroenterologists and hepatologists.
Your responsibilities will include conducting nursing interviews to determine medical eligibility for procedures, managing the Capsule Endoscopy process, and ensuring patient comfort. You will also be required to place and remove equipment for Capsule Endoscopies, providing high-quality patient care in an office setting.
To succeed in this role, you will need a current NYS LPN license, a minimum of one year of clinical experience, and intermediate-level computer skills. You must also be able to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, demonstrating knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care to all age groups.
