Nurse Practitioner-GI Experience a must at Allied Digestive Health
The Nurse Practitioner at Allied Digestive Health is responsible for managing and coordinating patient care with a focus on gastroenterology. This role requires experience in hospitalist or gastroenterology settings and involves both outpatient and inpatient duties.
This position will be based at Teaneck Gastroenterology in Bergen County, New Jersey. The successful candidate will work as an independent practitioner, managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
Key qualifications include:
- A graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in New York State, in good standing
- Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information necessary to examine and treat gastroenterology patients
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Hospital privileges
- Comfortable multitasking with a sharp attention to detail
- Ability to perform duties accurately in a timely and efficient manner
